International Course of Head and Neck Dissection

IAVANTE

IAVANTE is the area for Professional Competency Adquisition and
Evaluation of the Fundación Progreso y Salud (Progress and Health
Foundation) belonging to the Andalusian Regional Ministry of Equality,
Health and Welfare Policy.
IAVANTE aims to facilitate and promote the comprehensive training
and development of healthcare professionals through the most innovative
simulation and learning methodologies and promote research and
innovation in healthcare training.

Objetives

General objetive:
Be able to apply the neck dissection in human pathology.
Specific objetives:
•Know the basic instruments used for cervical surgery.
•Learn to perform different surgical approaches on bioreactive:
parotidectomy submaxillectomy, tracheotomy, thyroidectomy, cervical
lymph node dissection, thyroplasty, partial and total laryngectomy.
•Acquire technical skills of neck dissection.
•Perform all the most common surgical approaches for cervical
surgery.

Aimed to:

Resident doctors and specialists in otolaryngology, plastic and maxillofacial
surgery.

Accreditation:

This training event will be accredited by the Continuous Training Commission
into the Spanish National Health System through the Agency
for Healthcare Quality of Andalusia (ACSA).
