* THIS EVENT IS NOT ORGANIZED BY SBORL
The coronavirus is still strongly impacting our private and professional lives. However, our desire to learn new things, to improve oneself, and to find new and better solutions goes on.
The Stuttgart Rhinoplasty Course has been taking place annually for 28 years. Last year, the course was postponed for the first time ever due to the pandemic. Unfortunately, with the ongoing pandemic it still may not be possible to hold an in-person meeting this year. We have therefore decided to go virtual this year with our live surgery course!
We are pleased to invite you to our first completely virtual Rhinoplasty Course, which will be transmitted live on April 22nd and April 23rd, 2021. The course will feature a wide variety of rhinoplasty techniques and indications and showcase structural, hybrid and preservation techniques in primary rhinoplasties and secondary cases with the use of rib cartilage. The use of powered instruments (piezo/burrs) and classical mechanical instruments will also be demonstrated during live surgery. Over the course of two days, we will operate on eight patients from two different theatres.
This year’s event will also be quite special for another reason. Professor Wolfgang Gubisch, who first founded the Stuttgart Rhinoplasty Course in 1991, will give his final live surgical performance in Stuttgart. During his demonstration, he will share his unique rhinosurgical experience with viewers. In addition to Professor Gubisch and the other surgeons from Stuttgart, two well-known surgeons will demonstrate both new and long-established surgical procedures and strategies.
Don’t miss this unique jubilee event – we hope you will join us to celebrate with a rhinosurgical feast in Stuttgart!
Prof. Dr. med. Dr. h.c. Wolfgang Gubisch Dr. med. Sebastian Haack
