SUMMARY:I Curso Disfagia Orofaringea estructural
DESCRIPTION:* ESTE EVENTO NO ESTÁ ORGANIZADO POR SBORL \nEstimados compañeros:\nPresentamos el I Curso de DISFAGIA orofarigea estructural. \nLa Consulta de disfagia en el servicio de otorrinolaringología del Hospital Universitario de Navarra\, nació de la necesidad de valorar y tratar a pacientes con cáncer de cabeza y cuello que han sido tratados mediante cirugía y/o Radioterapia/quimioterapia. \nUno de los retos a los que nos enfrentamos los cirujanos de cabeza y cuello\, es el manejo de las complicaciones que producimos ya sea por un tratamiento quirúrgico o RTQT. La disfagia es una alteración que se produce en la mayoría de nuestros pacientes y afecta en gran medida a la calidad de vida del paciente oncológico. \nEn los últimos años se ha producido un gran interés por esta patología\, y creemos que deben existir unidades multidisciplinares de disfagia dentro de todos los servicios de otorrinolaringología. El correcto manejo de la disfagia antes\, durante y después de la cirugía y/o RT\, y la estrecha colaboración con logopedia\, consigue disminuir los problemas de deglución y un inició mas precoz de la tolerancia oral \nAsí mismo\, y debido a la demanda de nuestros pacientes\, debemos estar familiarizados con las diferentes técnicas quirúrgicas  y con los procedimientos diagnósticos y terapéuticos de las alteraciones de deglución. \nEsperamos que el curso sea atractivo para Otorrinolaringólogos\, Logopedas\, Rehabilitadores y Foniatras\, interesados en la valoración y tratamiento de la disfagia orofaringea. \nOs acogeremos en Pamplona donde descubriréis una ciudad histórica con posibilidades de ocio muy interesantes: Visitas al Museo de Navarra\, Claustro de la Catedral\, Museo de Oteiza en sus alrededores\, además de una variada oferta gastrónomica. \nOrganizadores: Enrique Maraví y María Uzcanga \n  \nPrograma\n  \n  \n* Los contenidos de esta Web tienen una finalidad básicamente informativa y dirigida a un público en general. SUMMARY:Swiss Head & Neck Dissection Courses Hands-on Cadaver Workshops
DESCRIPTION:* THIS EVENT IS NOT ORGANIZED BY SBORL \nDear participant\, dear colleague \nThe Swiss Head and Neck Basic Dissection and Reconstructive Head and Neck Surgery Courses 2022 are two 2-day intensive hands-on training courses and will be held under the direction of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology\, Head and Neck Surgery\, Inselspital\, Bern University Hospital and the Institute of Anatomy\, University of Bern in collaboration with the Swiss Working Group of Head and Neck Surgery. It includes instructional sessions for theoretical background by experts and supervised whole-body cadaver dissection. A major feature is to investigate the anatomy relevant to an array of head and neck surgical procedures and the techniques of regional and free flap raising on specimens\, which have been specifically prepared to preserve tissue planes and simulate real surgery. Furthermore\, it is an honor to announce the participation of Prof. Jonathan Clark (Chris O’Brien Life House\, Sidney\, Australia) during step-by-step dissection. \n  \n\n2 x 16 hours of hands-on training on head and neck surgery and flap raising\nLectures by national known Swiss faculty and international head and neck surgeons\nHigh-quality whole-body specimens due to the Thiel fixation technique\nPersonal step-by-step basic head and neck dissection and regional/free flap raising\nSupervised training (1 instructor – 2 participants per specimen)\nSwiss style social event\nFull catering\nCME accreditation: 2 x 16 points\n\n  \nProf. Dr. med.
