DESCRIPTION:Dear Colleagues\, \nRomania has the honor to organize in 2017\, the 42nd Conventus Societas ORL Latina.\nThe Societas ORL Latina has grown very much in the last years\, reaching up to 26 countries – members and 40 affiliate countries of total 84 latin origin countries around the world. In 2010 and 2012 the congresses held on South American continent had registered over 1\,000 participants each\, which reflect the major interest for this society\, its development and prestige.\nThis is the 4th time in the history of Societas ORL Latina (founded in 1929) when Conventus will be organized in Romania\, (1937 – Prof. Nicholas Metianu; 1984 – Prof. Dr. Dorin Hociota; 2006 – Prof. Dr. Dorin Sarafoleanu) .\nIt is my pleasure to announce and also to invite you to attend this international congress which will be held in junction with The 4th Congress of Romanian Rhinologic Society\, from 6 to 9 September 2017\, at the International Conferences Centre\, «Casino»\, Sinaia\, Romania.\nTaking in account the honour to be voted as the organizer of the 42nd Conventus Societas ORL Latina we considered appropriate to organize both congresses in the same time\, to provide you an unforgettable scientific and social experience. \nProf. Codrut Sarafoleanu\nPresident of the 42nd Conventus Societas ORL Latina\nGeneral Secretary of the Romanian Rhinologic Society \nProgram

SUMMARY:ASPCI 2017 (11th Asia Pacific Symposium on Cochlear Implant and related sciences)
DESCRIPTION:Dear Colleagues and Friends\, \nWe will be very much honoured and pleased to host the 11th Asia Pacific Symposium on Cochlear Implants and Related Sciences on 19- 22th September\, 2017. This meeting has been one of the leading events in the field since the first Kyoto Symposium and has attracted delegates not only from the Asia Pacific region but also from all over the world. This time we expect to reach similar levels of previous meetings\, both scientifically and socially.\nThe symposium will gather prominent global experts in the field and will serve as a dynamic forum\, promoting productive clinical debates between basic scientists\, clinical specialists and researchers on the critical issues within the various aspects of hearing\, speech and balance disorders. Innovation in different aspects of technology will be presented in an extensive industrial exhibition. The symposium prides itself on having the most up-to-date clinical\, scientific and academic program\, concentrating not only on future therapies and interventions\, but also on disease prevention and treatment goals.\nDate of the 11th Asia Pacific Symposium on Cochlear Implants and Related Sciences is approaching. Program is completed and majority of the speakers are already fixed. As you know\, at the beginning we planned to organise the APSCI 2017 at Kuşadası-İzmir\, but giving thought to the concerns of foreign guests we will be changing the venue to another country. We chose Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus\, which is located at the northern part of the Cyprus Island. This island is accessible only by plane or by sea. It is a very safe place that has been a very popular holiday destination with its long beaches and warm climate. There are many historical sites and places to visit such as Salamis ancient town with a unique history going back to 11th century B.C. Influences of different rulers such as Romans\, Byzantines\, Arabs\, Venetians\, Ottomans and Brits make the cultural life very lively and cosmopolitan. Although currently it is divided into two states namely Cyprus Republic and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus; with their similar Mediterranean life style\, there is not a big diversity amongst two societies. Artemis Kaya Convention Center is chosen as the conference venue which is located in Famagusta. It is a large convention center and is easily accessible both from Turkish and Greek sides.\nA rich social program will be arranged in order to make the delegates return back to their homes with fond memories of the meeting. We hope this meeting would be an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas\, to share knowledges\, to join old friends and to create new friendships. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the EAFPS 2017\n\nWe are very pleased to announce the 2017 EAFPS Annual Conference will be held in Lisbon\, Portugal\, September 28-30\, 2017. \nThe 2017 EAFPS Annual Conference will present an innovative format with multi-disciplinary faculty and focused sessions on every aspect of facial plastic surgery\, from simple to advanced operative techniques\, including experts’ insights for surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation\, as well as pearls about avoidance and management of complications. \nA jam-packed four days promises something for everyone! \nAs you know\, the choice of the Faculty is a key issue in the definition of the scientific format as well as the successful outcome of a meeting. \nWe achieve to involve recognized leaders of facial plastic surgery in Europe and overseas\, and until now we have confirmed almost 200 faculty members from more than 30 countries! Ira Papel\, from the USA\, will honor us with the Joseph Lecture this year. \nThe 2017 EAFPS Annual Meeting will be a great success. As someone well known in the USA say\, the EAFPS Annual Meeting will be huge and tremendous regarding the current state of art in facial plastic surgery. \nThis is actually the main reason why we are addressing this letter to you. \nIn addition to catching up with the latest developments in facial plastics surgery\, the 2017 EAFPS Annual conference in Lisbon will provide a unique setting for an unforgettable event. For lovers of historic sites\, Lisbon provides a highly impressive collection of places that would require several weeks for full appreciation. However\, if time is limited\, even a day trip from Lisbon will introduce you to a whole host of UNESCO World Heritage sites\, such as the Jerónimos Monastery\, the Belem Tower\, the Pena National Palace commanding beautiful views of a magnificent park\, and the Moorish Castle just to mention a few. DESCRIPTION:Dear Friends and Colleagues\, \nIt was my great honor and pleasure to host the 20th IFOS World Congress in Seoul in 2013\, and now I am very pleased to welcome all of you to the 21st IFOS World Congress in one of the most historic cities\, Paris in June\, 2017. On behalf of the IFOS I would like to congratulate organizing committee of the 2017 IFOS World Congress has done a tremendous amount of work for the last few years to establish baseline structure of the congress under the strong leadership of the President Bernard Fraysse and General Secretary Frederic Chabolle. The Ad-Hoc Committee meeting was held in Paris in January in this year gathering IFOS chairs and local French chairs and members to build a Preliminary Program under the Main Theme of “Diversity\, Innovation and Evaluation”. The scientific program will include all aspect of ORLHNS and related programs\, and we would like to invite all delegates from all international society members to participate actively in the Keynote Lectures\, Round Tables\, Symposia\, e-Posters Sessions and Instructional Courses with your colleagues to share cutting edge knowledge in the research and clinical science field\, and bring back your new ideas to your local society members.
